The first attempts to make use of a surrounding land near existing Tesco and Mc Donald shops occurred already in 2011. Many, today already stable operating shops (Mercury Market, Lidl, Mountfield, Gallery, TAM petrol station for lorry drivers) were gradually added to the Retail Park through utilization and enlargement of the network of our contacts. Retail was also supplemented by the Geis logistics park. More than 900 jobs were created in Zvolen during the enlargement of the retail.

Another enlargement of the retail is planned for 2021. That should fulfil the ambition to create the most advanced retail complex in the territory of the Slovak Republic. The plans also comprise the features of a modern architecture, charging boxes for electrical bicycles, but mainly with the ecological solutions thanks to which the materials of “inherited” building waste from the shopping centre construction will be thoroughly recycled and reused. The opening is planned for spring 2022.

The unique character of the project will be given by “green” solutions. We plan to plant “substitute” greenery that must have been cut due to the construction. Green roofs, recycled materials, unique alley of more than 30 arts of oaks, relax zone, climbing wall or kids’ playground will dominate. The investor also counts with the measures that retain the rain water.
